Interview Blog Questionnaire

Interviewer: Where are you from?

Interviewee: In every sad souls tears

Interviewer: How did you begin making music?

Interviewee: After school program downtown that has every aspect of art available to everyone. During the tour, I was brought to the Jam Room and everyone was jamming and playing "Hey Ya" by OutKast and that day I fell in love with the place.

Interviewer: How did you get your Artist name?

Interviewee: Long story, went through many name changes but my manager and i agreed to keep the SadBoi in the name, so we just got creative: s@dbo¡

Interviewer: How would describe your musical style?

Interviewee: I appreciate my versatility and ability to do any sort of genre that peaks my interest. So if I were to describe my musical style, I'm kind of of like an Anti-Hero, I'm not attached to anybody or in this instance, not attached to any genre.

T: What message do you want fans to walk away with after listening to your music?

Interviewee: I want them to relate to my music in any way possible because I'm all about the people. That's why I do all types of music so everyone can come together with my music and share personal stories amongst themselves, Everyone needs someone, So long story short, I want to bring the world together as much as I can for as long as I'm alive.

Interviewer: What’s next for you?

Interviewee: Me and my manager plan on doing a music video VERY soon. We both agree to do as much as we can in 2023 to progress our careers together, I'm excited to see what life God has ahead of me.

Interviewer: Is there anything else you want to say?

Interviewee: 1 issue I've always had especially at that after school program is that whenever I sing, preform or play anything, I unintentionally scare people away from doing so. Stopping people from perusing their dreams and/or showing everyone what they got to offer and share, is the complete opposite of what I want to do. Never give up on your dreams, if you want something, get after it. People will always try to stop you from your destination, but it's up to you to let them or not.

GRAVES

Interview Blog Questionnaire

Interviewer: Where are you from?

Interviewee: The Dalles, Oregon.

Interviewer: How did you begin making music?

Interviewee: I actually started trying to make

EDM beats on a cracked version of FL on my mom's computer when I was 9, and I would burn CDs and sell them to my friends at school. But I wanted to start singing and rapping after freestyling with a friend one night

0000000.000.....•

during quarantine.

Interviewer: How did you get your Artist name?

Interviewee: My real name is Jacob Graves. At first I wanted to call myself 541Scotty, because Scott is my middle name and 541 is my town's area code, but I didn't feel that really represented me, so I dropped that and one day decided that I was going by my last name, Graves. I feel like that emulates who I am more than anything.

Interviewer: How would describe your musical style?

Interviewee: My music sounds like the end of the world. From the future, yet reminiscent. It's really a trip.

Interviewer: What inspired the record?

Interviewee: I just wanted to show people what I could really create. I wanted to lock in and produce my own sound after being inspired from many works of music and art at the time. [hadn't really had access to good equipment before the album, and I was just getting really bored of rapping on type beats. So I saved up money and got a new recording setup and I kinda just felt something click and I ran with it.

Once that happened, I couldn't wait to share my "dystopia" sound with the world.

Interviewer: What makes this body of work different than others?

Interviewee: It's something new and refreshing.

I don't think anyone is really creating what I'm creating and that's what makes it stand out to me.

Interviewer: What message do you want fans to walk away with after listening to your music?

Interviewee: I just want the next generation to stray away from what's popular and do something different. I want people to feel refreshed and empowered listening to my music, and I also want to make art that people can relate to.

Interviewer: What's next for you?

Interviewee: I have an album called "Art Music" coming out later this year, it's my realest body of work yet. Definitely a culture shock. And then who knows, I'll figure it out once I get there.

Interviewer: Is there anything else you want to say?

Interviewee: Be yourself. Do whatever makes you happy. They're not going to understand it at first, but once people catch on, they'll follow. Love to all who reads this.
